A new ghost is ready for its revenge.

Jason Connell: We really like to make original stories. We thought about what our next original story will happen, thinking about Hokideo’s underdo OG character inside. Change this underdog character here on Quest, but within this beautiful landscape “ghost” IP: fatal precision combat, beneficial research, keeping all those aspects of the big open world. Net fox: Related humanity is something we really stay close to our chest. We want to ensure that these characters are people who can be relevant, yet you know someone living hundreds of years ago. And when our games are motivated by the history of Japan, they are fantasy stories, right? People are going through a landscape that motivates them to realize honesty, but otherwise the experience of these characters is when they grow and change and explore these places that we wanted to get lost.
This new trailer gives us our first glimpse on the purposes behind the new protagonist ATSU. What can you tell me about it?
Winter: Our new hero, Atsu, is someone you meet at the beginning of his life, and this is her original story, and she is a heartbreak. She suffers a horrible loss in her youth, and then looking for revenge. Change is the classic samurai cinema trope, and we love samurai cinema. ATSU is looking for members of Yoti Six who made it wrong and gained revenge. And in the process of hunting them and removing all their forces, they ignore the barriers. And people think it is more than a human. They begin to think that it is a “ny male”, a folk story ghost who is an unbeaten power for revenge.

When the ATSU was announced as the main character, some people accused the game of “waking up”. Why was the female protagonist the right choice for this story?
Connell: We knew that we had all these fans who liked “Susuma”. We want to move all those fans into an exciting new adventure. We are creative. We prefer to create new items. We prefer to create attractive, new pieces of art and move people in a new way. We want to create a sequel that is also freshly familiar.
Net and I are very loving to create original stories, and certainly one that we can find a way to make them look like a little underded OG in this landscape. This is a beautiful dangerous landscape, which gives him a great person to be an excellent person. It is somebody that people do not expect to be so powerful, yet it is here on this Rome of Ware Quest, which is probably very unpredictable for some.
Over time, she will find this name of NY male, because this Japanese folk legend is a vague, revenge ghost. And it’s just a wonderful fit. NY Nari is usually stories of revenge from women. So it looks like a really nice package for this.
The landscape of the Hokkido looks even more complex and distant than the island of Sushima. How did you craft the open world and what did you learn about the Ido period that inspired you to take in this game?
Winter: This is the most open game we ever. A great joy is just going to be lost. You let your Jhaj Ityyyas guide by landscape. We want this holy moment we want to lift for the players so that they could feel very present within Hokkaido or Izo, because when we play, they were called back. Izo is a character and is full of hidden secrets and anthology of stories.
Connell: It’s just so wild and full of nature. This is a chance to say a little more wild and rural version than the story is in the big city. To get alive there are many biomes and inspiration from many majestic and beautiful places. There is no way we can take it all, so we will choose some very beautiful places of cherry and bring them alive to our players.

Let’s dive into a combat mechanics. I’m sure the blade will still be a star here, but after the next period, the game opens up to the more advanced weapon technology?
Winter: We have the benefit of being part of the gunpowder combat mixture. While Katana is still the most valuable weapon, having some more opportunities to fly things is never a bad addition to a video game.
Connell: We teased Kusurigama, and apparently, she got two swords, so there is a nice dual-ing gender element. In this trailer, there is a frame on the end where you see a spear, called Yari. It is very new to be able to play with such different weapons for the realization of the game. Each of them has its own benefits.
Winter: Of course, weapons are a big deal, because mastery in the weapon is a part of the feeling of samurai cinema. She is integrated to be the master of the blade. But we want to give players a bigger connection to weapons and land. So inside Azo, you can find teachers who teach you how to use that weapon in a very organically way that you will see inside these films. So you have to feel like growing up as a martial artist with ATSU.
You have brought a samurai cinema for a while! Which title has you been inspired by the title for this franchise?
Winter: The “yanimbo” written by Akira Kurosawa is very large in both of our minds, because it is a tonal jumping-point for point for which it is like a wandering salesword.

When they eventually get their hands on it, players take away from “Yu Taye”?
Connell: I really hope that they understand the senses of immersion, to get lost in the landscape, look at the horizon, something interesting that is interesting and rides towards it.
Winter: I hope players feel that they really know how to use a sword. There is a moment when you play video games, and it stops being the character of the screen, and it becomes you.
