In the story trailer for Funko’s first console video game “Funko Fusion”, the brand’s titular Freddy Funko is introduced to the title’s supervillain: his evil copycat, Eddie Funko.

The “deeply twisted and extremely powerful shape-shifting counterpart” to Freddy is voiced by “Invincible” star Clancy Brown, who also starred as Freddy in “Shaun of the Dead,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” “The Umbrella Academy” and more. Promises characters from NBCUniversal. Franchises scattered throughout the game: “Your world will fall. Your people will suffer. And I will have infinite power!”

According to Funko’s description for the AAA game developed by 10:10 Games, “With dreams of absolute domination, Eddie has the dark ability to possess the inhabitants of ‘Funko Fusion’s’ pop culture-inspired world, creating an army of malevolent characters inspired by the franchises. Including ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Back to the Future,’ ‘The Thing,’ ‘Chucky’ and many more. As players strive to fight back, they will create their own team of playable heroes, each with unique tools to use in both combat and puzzles.”

The game will launch on September 13 via Steam on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (the game is now available for pre-order on those platforms) and on November 15 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
